The space

We would love to welcome you to our beautiful absolute beachfront home for your next holiday in Noosa. The is our family home and is set up with everything you would need to make your stay very comfortable. The house is a Tim Ditchfield designed contemporary home with a new gourmet kitchen, granite bench tops, espresso coffee machine and all modern appliances. The large size of the house is perfect for a couple or 1-2 families to holiday together whilst enjoying their own space and comfort. The home can accomodate extra family members on request.
The house is also ideal for couples or small groups as the main living area , pool , deck and master bedroom are all on the spacious mid level ( no stairs )

The top level comprises of our children’s retreat with custom designed bunk beds (two queen beds on the bottom and two single beds on top with an extra single bed). This level has its own bathroom, toilet, shower and is fully air-conditioned. This level benefits from stunning blue ocean views and captures gorgeous cooling breezes throughout the day into the evening and night.

The entry and double garage flow onto the mid level of the house. Enjoy cosy winter evenings in front of the beautiful gas fire whilst watching the large Apple TV with Netflix (own account login). The living area flows seamlessly through to the pool area and spacious sundeck. The house is an entertainer’s delight with large bi-fold doors opening up the entire indoor space to the outdoor deck and those gorgeous views. Weber family BBQ and comfortable outdoor setting and daybed complete the mid-level space. There are ample places to relax in the sun with a book and capture the sea breezes. There is also air conditioning on this level.

The Master bedroom with ensuite (double shower) is adjacent to the living zone on the same level . You can also see beautiful views from the plantation bedroom shutters. Allow the sounds of the ocean and cooling breezes to lull you to sleep at night. The main bedroom is fully air-conditioned.

The third bedroom is also on this level (queen bed and a single bed , air conditioned) along with a separate powder room and toilet.

The lower level comprises of a second living area with TV and Nintendo DS, large undercover deck with children’s swing, large double hammock , laundry, drying zone and bathroom with a bath and separate toilet. There is also a fourth air-conditioned bedroom on this level.

Wooden steps lead out to the lush rear garden and down to the private beach path. There is a fenced area to the side of the house where you can safely enclose your pet if you are heading out for a swim or lunch (please ensure your pet cannot jump over the fence before leaving them).

There are external steps leading from the beach up to the pool deck area to facilitate direct access to the pool after you have been at the beach. There is a outside hot shower for washing down after the beach.

This home represents an exceptionally private space for a family to spread out in several areas, over three expansive levels.
Also, the house works very comfortably for a small family or couple who can choose to relax on the mid level with easy level access to the pool, garage, master bedroom, kitchen and sun decks . Pool toys are provided for your enjoyment.

Guest access

As your guest you have access to the entire home, garden, pool area and double garage.

We do have some personal cupboards in the house and we hope your respect our privacy. There is a fridge in the garage which contains our personal items. Please do not use it.

Other things to note

Sorry, our home is not suitable for schoolies or large groups of young people. No exceptions.

Pets will be considered on a case by case basis and house rules apply. There is a fenced area for pets under the house, the rest of the garden is not fenced. Please let us know the breed, age and weight of your pet prior to approval and booking. Pets are not allowed on any furniture. Please remember to bring their bed with you.

Swimming Pool – the pool is not heated. As we have all year round gorgeous weather the majority of swimming pools in Queensland are not heated. The National Aquatic Centre is a 5 minute drive away where you can find an undercover heated childrens swimming pool, cafe and outdoor 25m and 50m swimming pools.

(Average winter temps are between 20 – 25 degrees during the day).

Bin Day is Friday morning, please ensure you put the bins out on Thursday night. The recycle bin goes out every second Friday, if you are unsure of the date please check and see if the neighbours have their yellow bin out. Red bin is for normal rubbish thank you.

Families with young infants may need to hire a gate to close off the stairs. The house would be otherwise suitable. Gemma can help you arrange this. Cot and high chair hire are also available with Gemma’s help.

This house is strictly non smoking.

Please ensure you hose off sandy feet before entering the house and pool area – thank you. There is a tap and hose on the lower level deck and also a tap at the front of the house (between the double garage doors).
There is a hot/cold outdoor shower on the lower deck outside the laundry.

Noosa is built on a sand dune and we are surrounded by National Park. Due to our beautiful warm climate we do have to share our Noosa home with ants and insects. It is very hard to eradicate them completely but you can take steps to ensure they are kept to a minimum. Please do not leave food and sugary items out at any time. Ants do tend to come inside more when the weather is very dry or if heavy rain is coming.

For bookings for 10 days or more we can organise a mid stay clean and linen change. Please let us know prior to your arrival (please note this will be at a cost to the you as the guest).

The house is tucked away in a very quiet residential part of Noosa sheltered by beautiful pandanus trees and only a quick drive from both Peregian Beach and Sunshine Beach villages. Our home is absolute beachfront and only a moment through a pathway to kilometres of pristine white sandy beach and clear crystal water.

The pet friendly section of the beach is 100m to the North of the house. The patrolled beach area with flags is located at North Peregian, 600m to the south of the house.

The house is within easy access by car, scooter, bicycle or public bus to Peregian Beach (5 minutes), Sunshine Beach (6 minutes) and Noosa Heads (10 minutes). There is a free bus service from Peregian to Noosa during the peak season (26 Dec 2017 – 4 Jan 2018) for Christmas Peak Season and at Easter time. Noosaville is only a short 12 minute drive away where you can hire BBQ boats, SUP’s, surf boards and jet skis.

The Sunshine Coast airport is a picturesque 20 minute car journey away and Brisbane Airport is a quick 1.5 hour drive away.

Getting around

Bike ride/walk to Peregian shops 3 km
To the north is Noosa Heads and Noosa National Park. There is a regular bus service operating along the David Low Way.

Must climb stairs — Most of the living is one one level , the mid level ie two bedrooms , kitchen , living , pool , dining and garage are on one level . There are stairs to the upper most level. There is a flight of stairs from the mid level to the lower level . The lower level can access laundry and back yard .
